| 10:25 am | Pupils get into groups and choose a sector active in the city, or perhaps one they would like to see. This could be anything that interests them – football, retail, music, cruise ships, education, history, etc. They carry out research and build a profile of the sector locally. |
| 11:05 am | Pupils develop customer profiles and consider what else those customers might be interested in. They map customer journeys and explore gaps and opportunities to enrich the journey by developing business ideas |

| 12:45 pm | Pupils develop their ideas for products, services and initiatives based on their analysis of the mapping exercise, develop simple business plans to explore the feasibility of their ideas, and produce an output (e.g. poster, presentation, video, etc.). |
